Nepali Class Boston is a language and cultural immersion program for children of Nepalese descent in Greater Boston area. We are committed to building a vibrant community with culturally aware and competent children through a dynamic curated curriculum.

volunteering

10 years of providing free immersive education in Nepali language and culture for children ages 5-15 years since 2014.

Run solely by the unbreakable enthusiasm of volunteers and parents, NCB has been served by 41 adult volunteer teachers and 15 parent volunteers in the past 10 years.

Youth Volunteer Program offers a multidomain platform to strengthen leadership skills and community service for High School Age youths. 28 Youth Volunteers have benefited from this program as of 2024.

Served over 1150 children and their families by providing a unique educational environment fueled by balanced cultural awareness to support well-rounded development of young American Nepali minds.

Hosts over 21 events and culturally driven presentations representing both cultures organized every fiscal year to promote cultural representation in the communities, and to motivate students to continue this dynamic cultural journey.

Developed a high impact curriculum consisting of Nepali history, cultural heritage, arts, music, geography, language, etc. that are taught throughout 8 age-based clusters/classrooms designed to cultivate Nepali cultural identity.

Mechi Program in 2023-2024 provided Financial Literacy Education to 42 children aged 10-13 years as well as 10 youth volunteers; Implemented project-focused education on Robotics/ Engineering to children aged 11-13 and Youth Volunteers; Fostered Music/Dance education to all currently enrolled youths.
